Equity Common Shares
These are required by everyone in order to be a member of Calgary Police Credit Union Ltd. Each member is required to purchase $25.00 common shares. Dividends are paid on these shares depending on the profitability of the Credit Union each fiscal year.

Chequing Accounts
Available with reasonable monthly service charges.

Plan 24 Savings
Interest is calculated on a daily basis and paid to your account monthly.

Piggybank Savings
Interest is calculated on your lowest monthly balance and paid to your account monthly.

US Funds Account
U.S. funds accounts are available to all members. These accounts have no service charges. A convenient way to save for vacation.

Term Deposits
Interest earned can be paid to your account of choice or compounded.

RRSP's
Variable, 6 month, 1 and 2 Year fixed interest rates, monthly contributions encouraged. Want to explore ways to secure your family's financial future? A Credit Union RRSP is an excellent start.

Personal Loans
We offer competitive rates and flexible repayment terms, with no penalty early payout. Loan life and disability insurance is available for purchase. Convenient payments via payroll deductions.

Overdraft Protection
Overdraft protection is available on personal accounts. The interest rate is floating based on Credit Union Prime. Amounts as low as $100 are available.

Residential Mortgages
Conventional mortgages with financing up to 75% of the current appraised value or purchase price. Amortization can be up t a maximum of 25 years. We offer open rate terms for 1 year, closed rate terms for 1 to 3 years. Mortgage protection insurance for life and disability is available for purchase on all personal mortgages.

Member Services

Deposit Insurance
All deposit amounts are 100% guaranteed. The Credit Union Deposit Guarantee Corporation guarantees the repayment of all deposits held in Alberta Credit Unions, including accrued interest. Deposit amounts include chequing and savings accounts, RRSP deposits, foreign currency deposits, and term deposits but does not include Common Shares.

This means both the deposit money you put in and the interest accrued is safe and secure - with no dollar limit.

Online Banking
Enjoy the convenience of online banking. You can now view your account balances, transactions and pay your bills online.

Telephone Banking
Our friendly staff will be glad to take your phone call during our office hours 10:00 am to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. You can inquire into your account balances, transaction details and request transfers between accounts.

Member Card
Member Cards are available to members with a good credit history and can be used to access both your Savings and Chequing accounts to make purchases or cash withdrawals. With you Member Card you can deposit to your account at any Credit Union machine.

Foreign Currency
American Express Travelers Cheques are available to you in Canadian and American currency. U.S. Cash is also available.

Money Orders
Canadian money orders are available for amounts up to $1,000.00

Bank Drafts
Canadian and American funds bank drafts are available for any amount.

Commissioner of Oaths
We have two Commissioner of Oaths available for your convenience.

Travel Health Insurance
Travel Insurance with trip interruption coverage is provided by Credit Union Insurance Services with a variety of options for all ages and health status. Single and family plans are available. Inquire at the Credit Union.

Direct Payroll Deposit Program
Payroll funds can be credited to the account of your choice.

Payroll Deduction
Convenient and painless way to repay a loan and save money.

Utility Payments
All major utilities, oil companies and credit cards, nominal fee charged.
